No news:

Is it me or is today a really boring day of news in the tech world? Granted I have been working all day .... (I have! I swear! *humph*) and I'm not finding anything 'exciting' to post that involves technology.

Thus, my news for the day is: Over the weekend I bought my first pair of slacks.... EVER!

Dating with Thai Food

Last weekend Elaine, my CPA/former co-worker at DE took me out for dinner and a movie as a Thank You for 'cat sitting' while she has been traveling this last year. After much deliberation and hunger... we decided to get some Thai food in lower Queen Anne. Now what is so interesting is when we walked in both of us commented on ... "awe, this is such a nice, quiet, pretty, candle lit, romantic place. We should have dates bring us here!"

10 Minutes later, much to our surprise, a Projection Screen TV magically appeared. So while loving couples basked in candle lit romance surrounding them.... they could watch CNN as well?

Romance, TV, and Thai food... That's a date every girl dreams of having.

Cosmo Tails...

Cosmo, the cat, has taken to peeing on my bed comforter and sleeping in the bathroom.

Do you think my cat might have some kind of mental or possibly psychological issues?

Catching up...

So in case you missed it below I've been out of commission for a few weeks. This little girl got sick sick sick.

Were talking some weird combo of strep throat, bronchitis, pneumonia and the common cold. After pushing between a 101-103 temp for over two weeks this morning I woke up with a 99.8 temperature. Woohoo!

Now in the middle of this flu love fest I:
1) had friends fly in from the east coast for 4 days
2) house/cat sat
3) started new *big* consulting project
4) friends come in from eastern WA for 2 days
5) do normal SqZebra stuff
6) taxes

Good to be back!

(Now, if I could only remember some of the above mentioned events I apparently did. )

Cat Training...

So this afternoon, I'm in the kitchen doing the last of some dishes and I hear this weird noise in the bathroom. Curious, and slightly freaked out someone might be in my apartment, I wiped my hands on the back of my skirt and cautiously walked over to the bathroom. And guess what I saw......

My cat!
In the bathtub!
His haunches next to the drain!
Doing his biz'ness!

I don't know if I should be happy that Cosmo knows to do it next to the drain, freaked out over how many times this has happened in the past, or thankful that he isn’t doing 'it' on my couch!

There's always an adventure in my home.

I'm back! Again! Kind of! .... maybe?

Now I know you can't see it but I actually have code in this webpage that states "Free Newsletter, type email here" With a blank spot to put in your email address. - And even though I'm not a moron with even the most basic code, I still can't seem to get it to show up on the front end. Hence,

Anyone that wants to be added pass me an email at either d.lafleur@gmail.com or danielle@squarezebra.com In the mean time I have stuck an expert on the code to find my missing period or < or = or some such.

Not the wittiest of entries I know but spending a lot of time white paper writing and all my brain power is in that direction right now. :) Either that or I'm watcing way to much Stewie on the Family Guy.... Stewie Stoned

Sleep:

I don't think I have slept in 3 days. And as I head out the door to go to help a friend and her overwhelming spam invasion... I think...
